Amaradeva Foundation, which was established in year 2000 to preserve pandit Amaradeva’s work for the future generations.

Since then we are operating as a non profit organization which is committed to full fill Pandit Amaradeva’s ideas to enrich Sri Lankan music Culture.

The foundation takes lead in organizing cultural events, Musical Workshops, Seminars (Rasa Vindana programmes) and especially awarding scholarships and gifting musical instruments to needy children.

Amaradeva International Music Centre

We are geared to establish a Music Centre to serve Sri Lankan Music Industry. Here there will be archives, libraries seminar rooms, music classes and rehearsal rooms. This will be a National Institute which will be named “Amaradeva Asapuwa”. The Media Ministry is taking the project forward under the guidance of His Excellency the President Maithripala Sirisena and Hon. Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
